What other jobs can I look into that pays more?? I’m at a level 1 hospital day time making 33.10 in chicago. Any ideas?

What is your specialty? What certifications do you have. Build upon your level center and build education. ICU, Cardiac, ER, OR are great areas to specialize in.

Moving doesn't make a difference the increase in pay reflects the increase in cost of living. California is the most expensive state to live in. You have to put in your time, work different shifts or weekend programs that often pay more. $33.10 is really quite good for a new nurse. Experience and more education ( certifications, MSN or DNP) make you more marketable it won't be till then you can really negotiate with employers.

Look into travel nursing. I've been a travel nurse since 2016, and I love it.
