I currently work in home care and actually get parade fairly well for the job. But I am seriously considering travel nursing. I guess what holds me up the most is the uncertainty of jobs vs the guarantee in my current job. Any thoughts??

I have traveled off and on since 1990. If you’re flexible and can jump in running travel nursing is for you. Have to do your due diligence of course but make sure everything (time off requests/needs are written into your contract. I traveled alone and took the housing but if you don’t mind staying in hotels can take the stipend and go that route. I have seen so many wonderful parts of this country and needs are high everywhere.

I have been traveling since 2007. If you are doing it for the hiugh COVID rates stay where you are. If you are willing to be flexible, move around, and take less pay than COVID rates and love your job. YES

Not sure where you live, but where I live home health case manager jobs are EVERYWHERE. So even if travel nursing doesn't work out you will definitely find other hh jobs, especially with experience. And likely your current employer would hire you back.
