When will nursing be recognized as a high stress, high demand, YET sadly low paying field as regular staff? Why do we have to travel to get what we deserve?

Because they don’t value us. I’ve realized a lot of nurses tend to not want to ruffle feathers. I just told my friend, who is also a nurse, that we should be paid low 6 figures or at least 90k to start no matter where you live.
Even when hospitals are low staff, they don’t want to pay staff nurses…they rather farm out and pay thousands per week. It’s crazy.

I had to literally leave a job that I loved to travel and make more money. Now I’m working so hard and I’m so sad about this assignment. We definitely are not treated or compensated enough 😕
