I have social anxiety, can I still be a nurse?

Of course but nursing is a social job. You end to figure out the why of your anxiety and find a way to conquer or control it. You will be a happier nurse.

Yeah. I also have a moderate level of social anxiety. But, it's becomes routine and your work. Familiarity and habit. And then, The only issue is calling the MD. I'm very grateful that I was a nanny for several MD's prior to becoming a nurse. It really helped with that. Plus, if you work in a place long enough they all become a strange sort of family.
