I am graduating with my ADN in Dec and live in the San Diego area. Any suggestions on where to look for work in the outpatient setting as a new grad? 12 hr shifts are not going to work for me.

I'm not from San Diego, but if you are looking for outpatient setting with no 12 hour shifts that will train a new grad, here are some options that I believe are general across state lines: Home Health & Hospice. In general, school nursing, clinics, OP surgical centers, nursing administrative jobs prefer nurses with at least 2 years of nursing experience. 12 hours shifts are pretty awesome as you have 4 days off in between. I am in a M-F 8 hour/day job and really miss that schedule.
