I’m in California and can’t speak for any other state, I’m afraid.

However, if you run into a wall in your search for your your first ER job and are willing to relocate to California, check out “pioneerstaffing.us.”

They are a staffing agency based out of SoCal that will get you into whatever unit you want with a preceptor. 2-4 year contract, I believe. You can write your own ticket after that.
