What type of job can a disabled RN with mobility issues get?

Tele-health is always an option. You just have to ensure its fully remote.

Hello I think case management or telephone triage nurse may be good.

Covid has disturbed everything which could prove beneficial for someone who is challenged by mobility. Here’s my recommendation, any dispatch type of call center, this might be in your home or in a building, case management is predominantly a desk job, Auditing charting is a desk job, Nursing informatics is a branch of Nursing that manages documentation systems in Nursing. Legal Nursing is also collecting data and writing reports and briefs supporting Attorneys with cases.
This is not an inclusive of insurance companies who hire Nurses as well.
Good luck!

Hi, Without knowing what your issues are, I can tell you what I do. I have a bad back. I work in private duty with children with health problems. I'm still in pain and take nsaids to help. I'm probably too old for this rambunctious 5 y o. I am 67 y o. I hope to get something in a clinic so I don't have to lift. If you need something without too much walking, I'd say try working for an insurance company. or I believe case management doesn't require alot of walking. Also, they use nurses for quality assurance in my area, private duty homecare. You'd be amazed how carefully they go through nurses notes so they get reimbursed by medicaid/medicare. Hope that has helped a little. Sincerely, Delores Sublett

Look into RN reviewer- remote or utilization review You mostly go through charts for insurance criteria.
Remote Case Management is also popular right now. Make sure to tweak your resume to have some of the key words from the job you’re applying for.
