I left my first nursing job after only 6 months and had no idea where to go from here since most hospitals are looking for nurses with 1 year + of experience. I applied and spent a lot of time on the application process. Someone from your office called me and wasted my time and your time saying they cannot hire me because I had a settlement agreement which happened over 22 years ago. I've never had any problems with employment as a result. I accepted a settlement agreement against my better judgements because my lawyer wasn't defending me like I paid him to do so. He wanted the easy way out and fast money. It was the worst decision of my life. Now you call me and waste my time and yours to only tell me you cannot present me to a client even though my nursing license is unencumbered and I have a compact license. Obviously, the BON didn't think the issue was that serious either or they wouldn't have issued a compact license. Your loss!!! Please don't contact me unless it is to apologize!!!! I see you've done this to others and promised not to do it to anyone else. Horrible to put people though this over and over. I have already paid in spades and paid thousands of dollars for having a health issue and refused to be allowed to call in sick. I arrived at work but never clocked in and I was sent home. A bunch of lies were reported to the BON and they failed to treat my medical issue. I have had to pay over and over again throughout the years for something that was embellished beyond believe. You've made me relive this tragedy. You should have it posted on your website for nurses NOT TO APPLY if you have ever had any action on your license!!! It's unfortunate that you don't give a chance to someone who has proven they are a FANTASTIC NURSE over many years!!! I wouldn't work for you now even if you begged!!! Your loss!!!
