Why do I keep getting rejections around 12 am each night? I'm a new grad in Sacramento; I'm getting so fustrated and just about to quit job searching.

Have you looked into a residency? There are many hospitals out there that will take new grads. you might be looking in the wrong places. Get out of your comfort zone if you have one. Never give up. You need to walk in to HR and ask to speak with a recruiter. Don't stop until you DO!!!!

Unfortunately systems are automated. You may want to schedule a Visit to HR. To find out the reasons for rejection

I’m not an expert with all of this modern technology, but I have heard that if the software doesn’t pick up certain words, it doesn’t choose yours

I would first apply to the hospital website directly, or do it the old fashioned way- with a cover letter and resume through the regular mail. Then a live person has to open it. Or just drop them off in person, that would make you stand out, a little extra effort

And if that doesn’t work, go ahead and hire someone on one of those job search places like zip recruiter, indeed or monster and just pay the price. They know which buzz words to use to get your resume chosen.
