I am an IV therapy nurse. The question I have, is there a maximum number of PIV's placed in the arm, and if so where I can find the information so I can present it to the medical board and develop a policy.

I've been in long term care for 11 yrs. Recently did Med/Surg for 7 months. I would love to do infusion nursing. Any suggestions on how I can get a job in this field? Every place I've tried asks for more experience.
