Most likely, you did not have enough training and were pushed to believe you should know everything from the beginning. It is not true, Nursing is hands-on experience, and we learn our entire lives. Your supervisors need to give you more attention and mentoring. Go and tell them straight out that you don't feel comfortable enough providing patient care in their unit, and you need help improving. No, it is not a sign of weakness but rather maturity. Different people learn at different pace. Ask your supervisor to come with the plan to upgrade your skills. If they are not willing to help, look for another job. Some places are infamous for bullying their employees, unfortunately, and nursing is the field where this attitude flourishes, for some weird reasons. You may bloom in other facility where you are valued and respected. Good luck!
