I’m a New Grad RN ADN. I’m also an LPN for 15+years. I’m trying to decide what’s the best step to take to start my career plus get good salary. Any suggestions?

Work in a Hospial setting for at leadt 5 years to get experiene.

Work in a hospital setting like cardiac care unit telemetry and after 2 years transfer to either ICU or OR after 5 yrs total you are very marketable to any area.

You may wish to look at a specialty area of nursing such as: critical care, neuro, cardiac, pediatrics, even psych. Always look towards furthering your education. The two being added to your professional portfolio will open many doors for you! Seek out a mentor😊

I would suggest you get your BSN so then if you want to get your MSN it will be easier to do. As a NP, I make an excellent salary.
