Where is the best place to relocate from IL, to improve Nurse work life and family balance? Nevada, Florida or California?

Having lived in all three, I cannot recommend any of them. What kind of life do you want to live? What do you want for your family? Don’t let your nursing career dictate either. You can be a nurse anywhere. Just decide what and how much you want and then go from there. I recommend staying away from metropolitan areas, they just suck the life out of you.

Unless you are incredibly WOKE and want your children indoctrinated, then choose California or Nevada, if not Florida.

I am a fifth generation California. Our government is bonkers and many jobs are bogged down with insane micromanagement. I hear good things from friends in Florida
