Why is it so hard for an out-of-state New Grad RN to find a job in San Jose, CA? I take my NCLEX in 2 weeks and will be moving to San Jose at the beginning of July.

Most likely the "experience part". 7 years ago, I worked with a couple to new grad nurses from california that had to work in Texas for "experience" the nurses moved back to california after less than two years. Good luck, there are also new grad programs that you can look for.
