They also do 4 week, 8 or 9 week. I guess it just depends
Typically 13 weeks but many places will make based on what you are looking for and how great their need is. I always start with the first 13 week contract and if I like or can tolerate the faculty, unit, staff, etc, I would continue to renew. I stayed in the same ED for over a year at a couple of hospitals. They always had a need. Once they see your skill level and work ethic, they will keep you.
Depends.... most seem to be 13 weeks but I've seen them as long as 52weeks.
Thirteen weeks assignment continued for years at my favorite place. Had all the OT as I could do the work well. The agency started taxing illegally more than once and I did leave. The agency Supervisor said her car would be liened at the DMV every so often and asked me never to lean her car. (This is "Supplemental"ly speaking)
I have worked contracts as short as one week, and I also had an assignment that lasted 17 weeks (one for 13 weeks, then an extension for 30 additional days). Most contracts usually last 13 weeks though.
