How do you make your resume stand out to employers for an entry-level clinical documentation position? Everyone wants prior experience in the field but my experience has been at bedside in critical care for the last 8 years. Thank you in advance.

This has been a challenging field to get in to, it seems. I've been trying to get in as well. But from what I hear, try taking the ACDIS Apprenticeship certificate program to help you stand out on your resume. You already have the clinical background since you have 8 years of critical care. Try using words like analytical, problem-solving, detail-oriented, able to prioritize, assertiveness, etc. You will need to show strong knowledge of A&P and disease processes. Hope this helps! Try and look for assistant management position. This is a small step towards your goal.
Take any charge role opportunities given to you.
