How can I assist patients in understanding and interpreting radiology results?

Typically, results are left to the doctors to explain. However, if the patient has a few other questions that you are comfortable answering; that is usually under the banner of patient education. But don't guess or speculate how X result is related with the diagnosis. Refer the pt back to the MD.
