How do I ask about patient acuity on the unit I’m going to interview for?

Hi there, you'll know mostly based on the type of unit you are applying for. Med/surg, progressive, ICU etc. Thre best way I have found in interviews is to ask what is your patient population like? Or What kinds of disease processes do you treat most often? Generally they will start a dialogue with you about it. I have been in management with hiring experience so I've been on both sides of the conversation. Hope this helps.
