I am going to soon be a new graduate moving from Texas to California with my husband who is in the Navy. Can someone tell me how to apply for a license in California or if I can carry on my license to there?

California requires a physical license. Make sure you take and pass the Texas boards and get a number. Then you can reciprocate in California. Got to the California Board of Nursing for the instructions. You will need to fingerprints and a background check. I have a California license.
