RNs in Dallas: which places are best to be at for new grads? What are the benefits pay and experiences?

May 27th, 2022

Parkland Hospital is the county hospital for Dallas and is a teaching facility. I use to work here and learned alot. I would start there first. UT Southwestern would be a second choice. Go somewhere where you can get paid to learn but remember these internships require that you stay with them for several years. If you like to work with pediatrics then, Childrens Medical Center would be a good choice too.

A new RN needs to start in an acute care facility. Pick the genres you like and explore for a few years. Where ever career takes you in your life, that basic nursing experience will give you wide roots to base your practice on when you decide what you want to accomplish throughout your career. Good luck and congratulations!
