Any tips for a new grad nurse applying to NICUs in Colorado?

I don’t live in the Colorado area, but I live in Alabama. I started out as a new grad in the NICU in Alabama. To increase your chances of finding a job in the Colorado area, your first step is to set up a LinkedIn account. This gives you the ability to connect with other professionals in the area, as well as search for jobs and get referrals. After that, I would start researching the job market in Colorado and the different types of NICU roles that were available. I would read job postings, research the different organizations, and learned about the types of skills and experience that potential employers were looking for. I also began networking with people in the area and attending local events. This will allow you to make contacts and build relationships with potential employers. I hope this helps.
