Is it just me, or does anyone else feel “ put through the wringer “ during the onboarding phase of a new nursing job? My new position needs two neg TB tests, Covid vaccine records, all the other documents/ before I even start ! I feel like a horse

This is everywhere. And once you get on a hospital or any job, you will have to do a TB test/or Chest X-Ray, Flu shot, and CoVid Vaccines now. This will be the new everyone. Some states require yearly CEU's . But , yes, I can see where it is overwhelming and at times very frustrating . Good Luck and Hang in there.

We all have to do the vaccines and tv test every year. Just part of the job! Don’t get frustrated it’s really for your own protection! Keep your own records of all your vaccines also , so if you change jobs you don’t have to repeat any of your vaccines! Hang in there it will all work out!! 🌺
