Anyone aware of anywhere hiring RN near Temecula California or within 50 miles? Been job hunting for about 6 months and I am losing hope. RN with no acute care experience. Only COVID Vax/Testing.

Unfortunately you may need to search further outside of Temecula. When i lived in San Diego we had a few nurses that were from Temecula.

you need to keep looking, with the nursing shortage i am sure someone will give you the job you are looking for. I am curious why would you spend so much time and money in a nursing program and not go into acute care nursing from the beginning. Well my feelings are you have to start somewhere just hang in there and keep on trying

Have you thought about moving to the Central Valley? Community Medical Centers and St Agnes hire new grad into specialities all the time. Job hunting is easy here! Just do your year and move back home after.

A lot of facilities have new grad programs if you have recently graduated. 2 hospitals always frequently hiring are Community Hospital of San Bernardino (hire LVNs and RNs) and St. Bernardine Medical Center in San Bernardino CA. It’s a rough area but if you get your foot in the door it can open up more opportunities down the road. I wish you luck!

There are a lot of new grad programs at hospitals that are hiring. Just keep banging on doors and submitting resumes and applications. It will happen but you may have to drive further than that.

I was going to suggest corrections, then I saw that someone already did. I started my nursing career in corrections, then went into cardiac care, then a short stint in a nursing home. I returned to corrections.

California department of corrections are hiring if you are interested in that type of work. I worked on the outside for 18 years before going to corrections and I love it!!

Have you tried logging in to Kaiser Permanente's website? Kp.org/career there's a lot of openings in hospital settings as well as outpatient care.
