Is it cool to use different fonts or colors on my nursing resume to make it more visually appealing?

As a very senior nursing leader, I agree with my colleagues about keeping it simple. Same font, same color. Personally, I never needed to "know" what nursing courses you took as a student as I took them also and that information clutters up a resume. And, as farfetched as it sounds, I always liked it when an applicant put their picture (nothing risque or flashy, just a small headshot) on their resume as it often helped me find the candidate I was looking for when I was narrowing the playing field. Including volunteer activities and hobbies also help as they show the applicant to be multidimensional; I am not interested in hiring cardboard.

No, I would think it would be more of a distraction.

No. Keep it simple.
