I’m looking to start a new nursing Job in August/September. When should I start applying?

Hi. First of all congratulations and welcome to an incredible nursing career ahead🎈🍾🎊🎉 . My advice is to start drafting your resume and cover letter the best way you can present yourself despite limited job experience. Start listing down important trainings and volunteer works you’ve done to give your employer a good impression. If none, I suggest start volunteering especially those that relates to healthcare or even hospitals. You might meet people along the way that can help you. Inquire about New grad programs in hospitals. A lot of hospitals hire nurses from those programs too. Lastly, start filling up online applications, having a resume makes it easier to go through the process and filling in the blanks. Btw, did you pass the NCLEX? Do you have your license in the state of your preference of practice? Also get your BLS, PALS or ACLS done or updated as required by the job your applying for. Best time to apply is now. Good Luck my dear 🥰

As soon as you like, some places have hiring cycles at specific intervals, so they can onboard everyone at once. Applying and talking to the manager might be the only way to know when those time windows are. You also might wait a month or two before your application is even seen, so it’s best to apply and then email/contact then a month later if they haven’t called you.
Keep in mind they can send you an offer and you can always tell them you’re only available to start in that specific time window
