If I graduate in May 2025 from nursing school, when should I start applying to RN jobs?

I graduated in May 2024, and I was looking at jobs and applying at the beginning of May. I know classmates had arranged jobs starting in January, who would take them on as RN prior to them passing the NCLEX. I applied in May, interviewed and accepted my position in July, and started 9/9. The earlier the better! Congratulations!
