How do I break into working at the hospital after being corrections? I've applied since the day I graduated RN school and my corrections background has stopped it every time.

Hi I was a ICU nurse for 20 years then worked as a CDI revenue cycle I for a hospital corporation I went into corrections for ease of work at some places at the prison to my knowledge it is very hard to get a job after working at a prison and to get a interview for a regular hospital job is very difficult maybe u can list the various positions you had and describe how they are like the TTA which is like their Emergency room can be a stressful with narcotic overdoses and suicides and attempted suicides .assessing acute stroke and MI s sometimes wit no MDs present if u worked at CTC correctional treatment facility it’s like working a acute rehab .2 of my coworkers one new grad got hired at a huge.hospital so it can be possible but doing acute rehab .my other coworker who worked in the TTA sometimes with me now works in the trauma ICU just keep trying it is possible
