I retired from the Army Reserve Nurse Corps. They have changed the fitness standards somewhat since I retired but the intent is everyone in the Army must meet a certain basic level of fitness. There were differenced for sex but there has been some fluctuation in that thinking. There are age related allowances within the standards. The physical fitness test too is under flux so I would suggest you reach out to the Army Nurse recruiter in your Area -start here https://recruiting.army.mil/mrb/ and you can be a soldier for life!!
The short answer is yes. And it is not too difficult
You can just google the physical fitness test that is required by the army. It does require some fitness level, but it is very easily achievable by almost anyone for the minimum standard.
