Geriatrics is aimed at patients generally over 75 years old. But it is not just the question of age that defines the geriatric patient but rather a set of characteristics that form a particular profile: Suffering from several illnesses or a chronic illness.

Technically 65. I work in a geriatric primary care group that make house calls, initially we set the requirement age at 65 but had to move the eligible age to 75.
