Hi everyone I have 7years of experience in critical care/pacu but in France and Canada. I haven't practiced those past 8years, and just got my nclex. Would it be impossible for me to secure a pacu or ICU job and not being paid as a new grad?

Being that you did not work as a nurse for 8 years, you would be considered a new grad. Unfortunately you will most likely only be paid as a new grad unless you know the hiring manager. 8 years out of the field and having to retake the NCLEX, there’s no real way to show you have experience.
