I have been a nurse for 3 years now. I am experiencing burn out. I have found a course through instagram that offers a supportive nurse community and accountability but it is quite a lot of money. I can't decide if it's worth it?

Before you spend money, use your EAP benefits. I was burned out from all the CPR and death from COVID, I’m a critical care nurse. During Delta, I was so burned out and I called and spoke to someone. They were on the phone with me for over 2 hours. Talking it out really helped. Especially when I was not trying to do it in between patient care. Try that before spending any money. It is free

If it's the type of work you are doing maybe consider a different side of nursing for a change. That is the beauty of working in the medical field. There are so many different avenues. I found my love in the infusion department and we recently brought on a nurse from the oncology floor where she had worked for the past 5 years. She said the first week in our department that she has fallen in love with nursing all over again. Keep your head up and best wishes to you.

Are you referring to “catalystforselfcare”? If so, she is really good at what she does to help you prevent burnout. It will be worth it if you are looking for advice on how to come out of it and also how to prevent in future. Plus side, you work a group of other nurses going through the same thing. Journey is not alone

Travel nursing requires at least 2 years working as a nurse prior to doing travel assignments. I was a travel nurse for 8 years. For the most part I loved it, and I was able to check ohh a lot of things from my Bucket List. I would do it again if I wasn’t getting so close to retirement.
Check it out and go on Facebook travel nurses sites and ask questions. Warning nurses get bonuses if they get a new recruit to sign on with their company. Check them out good as far as pay and benefits. The experiences were the best part of the job. I was Alaska to Hawaii several times, to places in between.
Best of luck.
