I’ve been working night shifts for 3 years and lately I find it hard to sleep in the morning, usually 3-4 hours max. Fellow night-shifters, how long do you sleep and what are the things you do to get a good night's sleep?

Melatonin and Trazadone help me sleep 5-6 hours. So does good sleep hygiene (nothing stimulating before sleep, no electronics in the bedroom, limited caffeine during the latter part of the shift, etc). It also helps to go the gym and do yoga or deep breathing exercises before trying to sleep. Hope this helps!
