How do you prioritize? Are you able to keep your emotions intact until your complete the survival or demise of a patient? How do you multi task , what does this mean to you in a busy ER ? Do you have any issues with many coworkers of authority instructing you what and when to do things and how do you deal with this ?

To really want to do emergency nursing and know what to expect. If you are applying for a level I or II ED, questions may arise as how do you cope with death and surreal situations, yelling, crying, parents giving them your limp kid in triage area. Apply CPR on an infant or kid. Drama, busy and ERMDs May have multiple codes going on at same time… can u handle that? In addition just to be flexible, meaning you are willing to work triage one day then non emergent patients the next day, triage the next etc. ED is challenging, fast paced, but truly was my passion. Team player willing to help others appropriately. Good luck.
