I was an interviewer for many areas. We often had specific questions we had to follow based on philosophy & values of the organization. The takeaway from that is know about the type of institution with which you are interviewing.
When we were allowed to add our own questions, I often asked situational questions (real life). What you do first if you saw your pt’s O2 sat drop; what would you do if you saw V-tach or V-fib on the monitor; describe a situation when you had to call a physician to intervene in an issue. Things like that.
Good luck!
