Any MD nurses out there? How much do you get paid? I’ve been a nurse for a little over 11 years — and feeling underpaid... just got a small raise by switching companies...now at $43/hr doing inpatient utilization review in Baltimore.

That's pretty good for 11 years.

MD nurse of 14.5 years here. I’d say $43 is pretty on point/good for 11 years. I literally just started making $50/hr about 2 weeks go, bump up from $47/hour. And most job listings I see for MD jobs are right around there if not lower and say that they cap out at $50ish per hour.

I make 50/hr for charge/bedside/safety and quality, 5 years of experience, in Montgomery county.

I’m in MD. I do O.R.@$38 (1yr eco) but I had surgical tech exp in OR I think that counted in my pay . So I guess my thought of getting a prn job @$40 is not unreasonable. If you’re at $43.

Hello. Usually UR pays less than a bedside position. And from my experience Maryland pays lower than DC or VA. I have worked in all 3.

That seems about average, good for a non clinical job. I know that people we hire from agencies make closer to 60 or more but no
benefits.

I'm a UM nurse with 12 years of experience in Maryland, I WFH and I'm at around 48$.

43/hr is pretty high. I think it's above the national average. But I think it is the average hourly rate for the state. If you want more, you'll probably have to do contracts (which might be why the average is so high now a days). Or you can negotiate but you have to come prepared as to why you deserve the extra money.

For 7 years experience inpatient in DC I made around $41.50
