How are six year RN with some specialty experience paid?

October 2nd, 2023

Six year RN’s with some specialty experience are paid based on their specialty and the hospital in which they work. For example, if you are a specialty nurse for ICU, you may get offered more money and/or a sign on bonus versus someone that works on the DOU. It does depend on the needs and the place(State) the nurse is applying. Hope this helps.

Depends on union or no union, state, area of state, some credit for years of experience or sometimes for the speviality. Union pay and benefits always better.

30–40 an hour depending on location

Depend on what state you practice and the employer. Can be a wide range, but definitely more than 5 years of experience may get better rates

They are usually paid by the hour.
