Home Infusion Nurses!!! Have any of you taken certification exam to get CRNI?

I have been a home infusion nurse for five years, but I have not done the CRNI exam. I have had coworkers study and take the exam. They felt it helped their marketability and increased their knowledge.

I've been in long term care for 11 yrs. Recently did Med/Surg for 7 months. I would love to do infusion nursing. Any suggestions on how I can get a job in this field? Every place I've tried asks for more experience.
Just wondering are there any facilities in VA that hire entry level infusion nurses and willing to train? I have 7 months med/surg experience but it doesn't seem like enough when applying to places. Please advise.
For someone who has 4 years of med/surg experience, how do I get a job in infusion or IV therapy nursing? Do they only hire people with this type of experience or will they train someone like my background?
