I will be graduating with my ADN in nursing in May. I have 12 years of experience as a Medical assistant in various areas. My applications are not being selected as a candidate for new grad nursing positions.

I submitted my applications a little closer to graduation date (like a month or two out) and had success that way. I didn’t even have my license yet. Don’t give up, keep trying!

Most employers want you to have your RN license number to hire you. Are u looking for an MA job only? Then you should have no problem. But probably need to wait until that RN license number comes in for the ADN to work for you.
